Her brother is a pilot and her sister is a gynaecologist. Sandhali wanted to become a doctor but while doing an amateur fashion show she decided to become a model. After finishing her graduate studies, Sandhali came to Mumbai to pursue her modeling career and within a very short time, she became a popular model. She worked in a music video of Sonu Nigam titled, ‘Deewana,’ which landed her in the female lead in Tum Bin. Directed Anubhav Sinha, Sandhali plays the character of a sweet innocent girl named Pia. She appeared in four other movies but none of them did so well in the box office.
